Fort St. John: Committee of the Whole and City Council meeting on Monday

There will be a Committee of the Whole meeting on Monday afternoon.

... At 4:05 p.m. a representative from Northern Health [Nick Oliphant] will be making a presentation on Fluoride in Fort St. John's water supply.

In July, concerned resident Dorothy Folk persuaded Council to remove the chemical from the City’s water supply.

However, the City is seeking ministerial approval before implementing a ban.

On Monday, Northern Health's presentation [pdf] will detail the positive effects of fluoride in the drinking system.

Meanwhile, there will be a public meeting regarding a Development Variance Permit Application in the City.
