Title of article: DELAWARE: Flouride [sic] to be added to Rehoboth Beach drinking water

REHOBOTH BEACH — The public water system will begin adding flouride [sic] its water supply on Oct. 28.

City Manager Gregory Ferrese said the change is being made to comply with standards of the Delaware Division of PUblic Health and the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act.

The water system will maintain a flouride [sic] level of about 1 milligrams per liter. According to a news release, the ideal level is .8 to 1.2 milligrams per liter as recommended by the U.S. Public Health Service for dental disease prevention.

Officials said anyone taking flouride [sic] supplements should consult a physician or dentist for guidance. Landlords are asked to inform tenants of the change.
