    Article's author

Title: Voters say no to flouride [sic] in Bow

Broken Bow voters approved a ballot question that keeps fluoride out of the city’s water system.

A vote “For” the question approved an ordinance that allows the city to opt out of mandatory fluoridation for Nebraska communities with more than 1,000 residents.

There were 892 votes for the ordinance and 623 votes against the ordinance.

A public vote was the only way affected cities could opt out of the fluoridation program mandated by Nebraska Legislative Bill 245.
